The University of Guam contacted Amorient to investigate the root cause of the failure in the salt water pumping system at the Fadian hatchery.

​

Amorient performed the following:

• Visual inspection of the Guam Power Authority overhead distribution line

• Thermal imaging survey of the electrical system

• Power quality monitoring over a period of one week

• Detailed inspection of the electrical system

• Engineering analysis and code review

• Assessment of the mechanical installation

• Development of two conceptual designs for the pumping system with cost estimates

Amorient was subsequently tasked with managing the repairs.
